PAX is a nonpolitical nonprofit organization working with all Americans to help bring an end to gun violence against children and families. PAX's two innovative programs -- SPEAK UP and ASK (Asking Saves Kids) -- offer practical solutions for protecting children from gun violence. According to the Centers for Disease Control, over 1 million students across America take a weapon to school each month, and over 1.3 million students are injured or threatened with a weapon each year.

Position: Senior Program Manager

PAX is seeking a Senior Program Manager to oversee these local programs and ensure that all goals are met. The Senior Program Manager will be supervising three Program Managers responsible for the day-to-day management of programs throughout the US. With the support of the Program Managers, the Senior Program Manager will:

• Manage the progress of each local program, ensuring that all objectives are met;
• Research/develop opportunities for implementation in additional communities;
• Manage all aspects of special events, such as National Safe Schools Week and ASK Day;
• Create, maintain and leverage relationships with partner organizations;
• Produce quarterly newsletter

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in program management, some in a supervisory capacity and excellent communication skills.
