Description

About Charity Partners & Tickets for Charity® What if you could purchase the same goods you already buy, at the same or better price you pay elsewhere— and automatically benefit a charity you care about? Wouldn’t you do that? Wouldn’t a lot of people do that? This is the founding principle behind the Charity Partners and our first Charitable Sale™ platform, Tickets-for-Charity. Jord Poster, one of the founding members of Priceline.com, founded the company to dramatically increase critically needed funding to some of the world's most admired charities and foundations through free fundraising platforms such as Tickets-for-Charity. We have set a goal of generating $100 million a year to enable our partner charities to spend more time executing their missions and less time seeking the funding to do so. Tickets-for-Charity® works with some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment and over 80 partner charities to offer fans premium concert and sporting event seats, at typically the same or better price they find elsewhere, while supporting great causes in the process. In collaboration with artists from Coldplay and U2 to John Mayer, Tickets-for-Charity has generated $10 million in Charitable Sales and donations for some of the world’s most respected nonprofit organizations, including Feeding America, Malaria No More and the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC).
