Employees from Diageo North America are giving back this holiday season by participating in a variety of volunteer programs via the company’s North American headquarters and beyond.  Volunteer and charitable activities during the season include:

  • Diageo hosted its 10th annual Diageo 100 Children’s Holiday Party at Bowlmor Lanes in Norwalk.  Each year the company hosts hundreds of children from different community organizations.  This year’s event benefitted six local charities.
  • Part of an annual tradition, Diageo’s Norwalk office sent a team of employee volunteers to longtime local community partner, Open Door Shelter.  The team cleaned, organized, prepared food and distributed gifts.  The group is also currently collecting canned goods for a pre-Christmas delivery.
  • Diageo co-sponsored the “Keep Norwalk Warm Coat Giveaway Program” along with local agency Person-to-Person.  Volunteers delivered more than 80 coats for those in need.
  • Through Families Forward, employees in Diageo’s Aliso Viejo office adopted a family and purchased requested gifts for them.  Employees will also go to the Families Forward organization to help sort through gifts and prepare them for family pick up.
