AEG’s LA Galaxy and Herbalife Nutrition recently teamed up with A Place Called Home (APCH) to pack and distribute food for families in need at a Family Resource Depot in the greater Los Angeles area on Wednesday, May 27. In conjunction with the LA Galaxy Foundation, LA Galaxy Players Daniel Steres, Rolf Feltscher, Joe Corona, assistant coach Dominic Kinnear and Cozmo joined volunteers at A Place Called Home to pack and deliver the food.

In addition to receiving a food delivery, families were also provided a reusable LA Galaxy grocery bag courtesy of Herbalife Nutrition. The LA Galaxy Foundation recently made a donation to A Place Called Home to continue its support of the organization's outreach efforts.

Due to COVID-19, APCH suspended regular operations on their campus and launched a Family Resource Depot to receive and distribute groceries and household necessities to families in need. Services have expanded to include direct delivery in addition to including books and art supplies in the grocery bags. Each Wednesday, APCH packs and delivers meals for 225 of their families at a Family Resource Depot.
