Earlier today, AEG’s Los Angeles Kings, partnered with the City of Long Beach to host the Long Beach All-City Beach Day for more than 2,000 youth, ages 5-14, from 32 Long Beach Parks, Recreation & Marine Department Day Camp and Summer Fun Day sites. Throughout the day’s activities which included beach sports, a dance contest, obstacle courses, sand sculpture activities and free play in the ocean, the LA King introduced ball hockey with the help of the Kings’ Ice Crew and team mascot, Bailey.

The Long Beach All-City Beach Day brings youth from all over Long Beach to one location to meet new friends, play, exercise and for some, experience the beach for the first time.  The event also helps kick off registration for Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine Fall Sports, where LA Kings Ball Hockey, supported by Delta Air Lines and Blue Shield of California, will be featured for the first time.
