General Motors will soon use wind as an energy source for its operations in Mexico and its Arlington, Texas assembly plant. When these wind projects are up and spinning by the end of next year, GM will source a total of 170 megawatts of renewable energy to provide electricity for plants across the globe.

Driving this use of renewables forward is Anthony Davis, GM’s project manager of sustainability initiatives and renewable energy. His job is to pursue the opportunities to bring renewable energy projects to the finish line.

In this interview, Anthony talks about expanding GM’s renewable portfolio and how using green energy is a lot like drinking good eggnog. You’ll just have to listen to find out.
