Redesigning CSR Summer Class

Summer of Social Innovation Summer Class at MFA Design for Social Innovation
May 28, 2014 12:00 PM ET

This innovative six week evening class will utilize business ethnography practices to review current corporate culture and visions, assess current CSR efforts, then use the insights derived to identify opportunities and envision future best practices. If you work in corporate CSR or want to, this class will give you new tools, perspectives and insights to take back to work with you.

DSI is the first MFA program to prepare graduates to use design for social innovation. While ours is far beyond the traditional definition of design, it is proving to be of interest to pioneering designers and non-designers alike who see the potential to use the design process and methodologies to engage people in co-creating their own new future. We focus on changing human systems instead of physical ones, working on the invisible beliefs and potential within organizations, communities and individuals, exploding traditional definitions of design, and working at great scale.
