Volunteers in Europe Pack Food Boxes for Ukrainian Refugees

Recently, FedEx collaborated with Rise Against Hunger, an international hunger relief nonprofit, to provide food boxes containing a two-week, one-person supply of shelf stable food to Ukrainian refugees.
Approximately 270 team members from the U.K., France, and the Netherlands, packed more than 2,400 boxes, which were then shipped to Poland, Romania, and Moldova for distribution to refugees hosted by local communities and through reception centers.
“I’m proud that we at FedEx can make a difference, both by using our network, and by bringing our team members together to do good and support people in need,” said Ed Clarke, VP Ground Operations in the UK.
