I like to consider myself an energetic, positive, enthusiastic person. I live in Squamish BC, Canada... I have a spouse and one daughter named Alex that is the center of my world... a world I would like to keep around for her to enjoy. I am an avid outdoorsman (kayaking, hiking, climbing...) and am fairly well travelled.
Career-wise: I am a control systems specialist (instrumentation and controls) working for one of the evil empires (oil and gas) that is actively seeking an opportunity to STOP working FOR the problem... and START working FOR the solution.
I am quit aware of the pursuits for 'greener' energy and would like to get involved... permanently. Can you please direct me to in a direction or to an organization that perhaps would be a good fit for an experienced technologist that has had ENOUGH of the "black business"?
What kind of positive change do you want to create in the world over the next 12 months?:
Above all: I would like to assit on project that will inspire less consumption of energy. I would also like to see society value energy and assume accountability for its use.
