About Andrea:	I'm a marketing to women and gender insights expert who co-authored "Don’t Think Pink: What Really Makes Women Buy – and How to Increase Your Share of This Crucial Market (AMACOM, 2004). While I focus on women as leading indicators of consumer behavior, especially with regard to socially responsible business practices, my scope has broadened to include men. I believe that to most effectively reach today's values-based buyer, marketing has to be much more nuanced and subtle than "men vs women." I speak and consult with mainly traditionally male dominated industries trying to get the subtleties right. I also contribute to a wide range of publications, including HuffingtonPost.com, MPDailyfix.com, Women-omics.com, and my own blog - Learned On Women (http://learnedonwomen.com) My goal is to present the most timely commentary on and analysis of consumer/cultural shifts and their gender implications.
