Andrew Wilkes is a staff writer for Justmeans.com in the area of Social Enterprise. His commitment to social enterprise and doing business better flow from a vocation of public service. Three experiences drive his commitment to public service: reading Jim Wallis’ The Soul of Politics, witnessing the promise and peril of globalization in a trip to China, and hearing Mayor Cory Booker speak at Princeton University. He has worked as a Freedom Schools teaching intern for the Children’s Defense Fund, a policy and organizing fellow for Sojourners, and as a policy intern during the first administration of Newark Mayor Cory Booker. A graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary and Hampton University, Andrew was recently selected to be a 2010-11 Coro Fellow in Public Affairs in New York City.
