Good work goals for the next 12 months:
I have been learning a lot about web 2.0 and the hundreds of web sites out there creating communities and networks to connect people who share similar interests and goals. I've seen a range of sites, from people who want to share their love of their pets to an unbelievable amount of video sharing sites. I believe that small but certain steps are necessary to make a big change. I want to allow people to interact as easily as Google allows people to search, for example. Right now, there are so many different social networking sites (facebook, myspace, hi five, orkut, to name a few) but there isn't an easy way to connect them all, or at least share the message of social responsibility easily among these sites. I think social media should really put the issues in the face of the world and push us to make a difference. One person can make a difference; you just need to find that passion and a way to make a change in the world. And I think social media can help people get there.
