I am the Marketing & Communications Director at NativeEnergy, Inc., a leading carbon offsets and climate solutions company, which I have been with for 6 years. We work with leading environmentally and socially responsible businesses and organizations, and we help individuals and communities to live in more sustainable ways.
In addition to leading the company’s marketing and communications programs I have also closed deals and developed partnerships with some of our highest profile clients, including: “AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH” (the Academy Award® winning film and first-ever carbon neutral documentary with Paramount Vantage/Participant Productions, the first-ever carbon neutral DVD with Paramount Home Video, and the first-ever carbon neutral book with Rodale Books, and with Al Gore’s staff); Warner Bros Pictures’ Academy Award® winning film “SYRIANA”; MTV–Music Television and Comedy Central; Sundance Channel; LIVE EARTH Concerts for a Climate in Crisis; The Doors Music Company; Salesforce.com; Ceres; Annie’s Homegrown; The X-Prize Foundation; and two 2008 U.S. presidential campaigns – Hillary Clinton and John Edwards – and the DNCC's "Green Delegate Challenge", among many other clients.
I frequently serve as NativeEnergy’s spokesperson to the media and represent my company at business, industry, and consumer events. I coined the term “Remooable Energy™” to describe NativeEnergy’s family dairy farm methane energy projects.
I am very fortunate to be one of only 1,000 people trained by Al Gore and The Climate Project to present Mr. Gore’s slideshow, as seen in “AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH”.
My experience in environmental business includes director level sales and marketing positions with two regional municipal and business recycling companies in Boston. I also worked for PBS affiliate WGBH-TV, where I helped publicize the re-launch of the popular ‘70s show “ZOOM” and promote award-winning programs “This Old House”, “Antiques Roadshow”, and “The American Experience”.
I have run the Boston Marathon, hiked up Mt. Eisenhower and Copper Mountain and down into the Grand Canyon. As a strong supporter of sustainability solutions, I frequently telecommute and do everything I can to keep down my carbon footprint.
