About Deborah:

After graduating from Stanford Business School with an MBA in 1990 and spending some years in the corporate world as a management consultant, I transitioned into working primarily for businesses, nonprofits, and individuals that are dedicated to promoting peace, well-being and personal as well as global transformation. While my journey initially took me far from my business roots, I have since come to realize how potent the synergy of entrepreneurship, smart design, grassroots empowerment, greater consciousness, presence and heart can be in addressing the long-standing societal and environmental problems that plague our world. I believe our greatest leverage point is training leaders (both youth and adults) to take a whole-system, whole-person perspective in addressing the seemingly intractable social and environmental problems we all face. As such, I am looking to move more into leadership development, group facilitation, coaching, and the like. I do, however, have a background in marketing and management consulting, and can also envision bring this experience into a social entrepreneurship setting.

What kind of positive change do you want to create in the world over the next 12 months?:
