I am the founding Executive Director of the Goodwill social work centre (NGO), Madurai, India. I am a former professor of social work and Head-Department of human resources management at the Madurai Institute of social sciences, Madurai, India. I received my master’s degree in Social work with HRM as a field of specialization from the Loyola College (University of Madras), Chennai, India in 1971 and Ph. D in social work/HRM from the Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, India in 1988.I hold a Certificate in International interdisciplinary Course on Children’s rights awarded by the University of Ghent, Belgium in 1996.
I am a Global Links Initiative NETWORKER and have registered as a member from India with www.glinet.org . I am the GLI Tamilnadu Representative in India.
I have won the prestigious UnltdWorld(UK) Global Impact BRIC(Business, Resources, Insight and Community) award 2009.
