For six years, I was the Executive Director of Shop Well with You (www.shopwellwithyou.org), a New York-based national organization that I founded. Shop Well with You (SWY) helps women with cancer improve their body-image and quality of life by using their clothing as a wellness tool. Over the last two years, I’ve transitioned out of this position to pursue more diverse work that focuses on promoting positive change through through socially responsible business practices and entrepreneurship.
I currently consult on not-for-profit, entrepreneurial, and fashion-related projects. I also maintain a blog, www.sentimental-value.com, which is a collection of found stories about clothing I compile from Ebay. I have hosted writing workshops called “Clothing Stories” and “Worn Stories” respectively at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia and the First Person Arts Festival based on accessing anecdotes and memories through articles of clothing.

I would like to build awareness and exchange ideas about corporate social responsibility and sustainability with a diverse group of corporations, business leaders and cultural innovators. I would like to work with them to create positive change in our world through creative communications, strategic positioning, and social entrepreneurship.
