About Gina:	Gina Tirado Strayer is a social media entrepreneur founding a microfinance web property for emerging low-income Latina entrepreneurs to connect to each other and get the information/skills they need to bring their small business from underground to mainstream. She has worked for global nonprofit, One Economy Corporation, for nearly three years as a web producer, designing online financial literacy tools for low-income consumers on their bilingual self-help portal, theBeehive.org. She graduated from Northwestern University's School of Journalism in 2005. During college, she worked at Mujeres Latinas en Acción recruiting Latinas to get screened for breast/cervical cancer and HIV/AIDS and traveled to Puerto Rico to to report on the AIDS epidemic affecting Puerto Rican women, sparking her interest in global media for social change.
