First of all, I am a committed Christian, but not in the way that most Christians are viewed in this country. What I am can be described by the way I live my life: I do everything I can to emulate Jesus by my lifestyle. This has meant taking months off of school to go abroad: from Canada, to the Philippines, to Spain, to Mexico, to staying at home to contribute to the relief effort after Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast. I am service oriented because that is what Jesus did. I also live a life of integrity: my actions should say louder than anything that comes out of my life that following the rules, telling the truth, and caring about others more than myself are integral parts of what I believe.
