About Kate:	President of Package Machinery Co Inc. a women-owned manufacturer of custom wrapping machinery for consumer products companies. I love the green movement when combined with sustainability, since it offers so many opportunities to learn and improve our the planet. For many years I did volunteer work in land use and conservation. There are many other resources we need to learn how to use more carefully. While our oldest machines are more than 90 years old, the materials that run through them have changed and will change again. This learning curve is important to us and to our customers. Our machines will wrap with paper or film, be they bio-plastic or petro-based. They are energy efficient since they use heat only to spot weld. With servos we time our machines so that they motion is appropriate to the product and the application.
