I have had over a decade of experience working both in and with news media. Before launching SpaceforGood, I was a Speechwriter, Outreach Coordinator, and Communications Officer for Millennium Challenge Corporation, where I traveled throughout Africa and the United States to spread the word about the start-up US government agency that has committed nearly $6 billion dollars in grants to developing countries. As a News Producer for Eurovision, a consortium of television stations representing over 80 countries across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, I produced and edited daily news stories and planned live coverage of events. I have also worked for the National Journal’s Hotline, National Public Radio’s All Things Considered, and CNN.

What kind of positive change do you want to create in the world over the next 12 months?:
I have created an organization to connect news about poverty, disease, and disaster, to videos about people and organizations working to mitigate these crises. I want it to raise awareness and support for these groups.
