Laura spearheads BSRs corporate social responsibility initiatives in our New York office, primarily working with multinational companies in the financial services, information and communications technology (ICT), pharmaceuticals and biotech, and media and entertainment sectors. Gitman's expertise includes responsible supply chain management, CSR strategy, stakeholder engagement and CSR reporting. She facilitates the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition, and also helps companies to advance small- and medium-enterprise development in emerging markets. She also authored a report with the World Bank on CSR in China's ICT sector. Gitman previously worked for Deloitte Consulting, where she acquired extensive strategy experience advising multinational financial service companies.
Laura holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University and a B.S. in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University.
