Michael Van Patten is the CEO and founder of Mission Markets Inc. an electronic marketplace for the environmental and social capital markets.
Mike has over 20 years of experience in the capital markets industry with a focus on the development of transactions systems and business models that help to standardize illiquid and fragmented markets. Mike also co-founded NYPPEX, which is the leading electronc marketplace for the secondary LP transactions. Prior to working in the capital markets industry Mike was a volunteer for SOS "Save Ourselves" a Southern California Non-Profit organization, where he helped distribute food to low income Spanish speaking households. Mike also spent four years living and studying in Ecuador, South America and is fluent in Spanish. Mike is a native of Southern California and a father of four children; he is also an avid surfer, rock climber and has completed over 50 triathlons. Mike possesses the following FINRA registrations, series 7, 24, 55, 3, 63.
