OOPS ... interesting that the data of birth field does not allow people of my age to be on the record ... I was born in 1940 and "completed my education" before computers were invented (almost!). But I have been on the early waves of the computerization revolution from one of the first audits of a computer doing corporate accountancy (EMI Records in 1963), mainframe computer installations in the 1960s and 1970s, pushing into the PC world, and PC databases in the 1980s, client server and migration from the main frame, to Internet and web based information systems and now the mobile data revolution. For all that, my interest is about data, information, knowledge and decision making more than it is about technology ... and to this end have developed Community Accountancy (CA) as a way to catalyze a paradigm shift in what the world considers important ... a systemic counterbalance to Corporate Accountancy and its preoccupation with profit at any cost ... CA takes into consideration not only money wealth, but also value creation that supports the happiness of society.

What kind of positive change do you want to create in the world over the next 12 months?:
My goal is to deploy Community Accountancy (CA) so that there is a universal metric for economic activity that goes beyond the simple money profit metric, or the money cost metric to include everything that results in changes in value. CA is based on the concepts of corporate accountancy but with two big differences: (1) it has the community as the reporting unit; and, (2) it embraces value change as well as money change in the system.
