I founded the rural Guatemala development institution, Pajebal (www.pajebal.org), which receives loans from people in the United States and transfers that money to Guatemala to be lent to micro entrepreneurs and small local businesses in the indigenous western highlands.
I previously served as a Peace Corps Business Development Volunteer.

To provide the members of less-privileged communities of Central America with improved training and capital, and to inspire within them an increased sense of motivation and optimism in the development of their own community.
