Anandi Premlall serves an integral part of educating New Yorkers in making environmentally conscious decisions in their lifestyles, organizing events and building partnerships with like-minded individuals and business. She shares her love and dedication to the Earth by bringing people of all ages to plant, care for and beautify urban forests and public spaces across the 5 boroughs.
As Project Leader of Earth Day New York, an educational non-profit, Ms. Premlall initiated the social media department, created the digital strategy and implemented the initial social media marketing plan. Ms. Premlall also organized and lead the first Nurturing Nature Program on Labor Day 2008 to bring Queens residents out to Forest Park for tree stewarding in partnership with the Million TreesNYC initiative which was covered by both NY1 and Ridgewood Times.
