Three Leaders You Need to Hear From at BSR20

Aug 12, 2020 6:00 PM ET

BSR has confirmed its initial plenary lineup for the BSR Conference 2020—and couldn’t wait to share the news. Hear from these leaders in social justice, economic empowerment, and women’s rights as they hit the (virtual) stage this October:

François-Henri Pinault, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Kering

François-Henri developed Kering into a sustainability pioneer with a deep commitment to women—two causes that are particularly close to his heart. His vision of responsible luxury is at the heart of Kering's success and its ambition to be the world’s most influential luxury group in terms of creativity, sustainability, and long-term economic performance.

Sharan Burrow, General Secretary, International Trade Union Confederation

Sharan is a passionate advocate for social justice, women’s rights, the environment, and labor law reforms, and has led union negotiations on major economic reforms and labor rights campaigns globally.

Darren Walker, President, Ford Foundation

In addition to managing a US$13 billion international social justice philanthropy, Darren has been named Time’s annual 100 Most Influential People, Rolling Stone’s 25 People Shaping the Future, Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business, Ebony Magazine’s Power 100 and OUT Magazine’s Power 50.
