Tensie Whelan Interviewed for SRI in the Rockies

What recommendations does Tensie Whelan, Executive Director of the Rainforest Alliance, have for socially responsible investing?    In this engaging interview with Steve Schueth, President of First Affirmative Financial Network, Ms. Whelan shares her perspective on sustainability as it applies to business, investing and consumer products.  Ms. Whelan has been involved in developing certification standards to help consumers and businesses identify sustainable purchasing options and she discusses how the Alliance provides these standards as well as the economic implications of this environmental recognition.   With its focus on progressive uses of land resources, Rain Forest Alliance is continuing to identify ways to increase the transparency of the products and agricultural processes we benefit from everyday.

Mrs. Whelan will speak at SRI in the Rockies on October 26th.
