I am very much enthusiastic with the initiatives for the protection and rehabilitation of the environment, which the EDF is engaged even for the past decades, further the conservation of biodiversity. It is always the reality that the environment reflects the kinds inhabitants living in the kind of areas in the world. It is sad to say that we the Bangsamoro people in Mindanao are victims of the development activities, usually initiated by the people in our government. I am interested in the rehabilitation of our ecosystems, starting from the mountain to the marine ecosystems. As an effect of the usual political games in our society resulted in the destruction and devastation of our environment, fashioned by the acclaimed economic development for increasing the GNP of the country, here we are, suffering from the consequences either economically, socially, culturally, physically, politically and even educationally. We are doing in some way the restoration and rehabilitation of ecosystem, but only few effects are observed, considering that those empower in the government are doing activities to the direction of the environmental destruction and resulting in the discrimination of the native inhabitants in almost all social ethos. Hoping that the mechanism and government support must be provided for such activities in our homeland-Mindanao , as the EDF is presently doing.
More power to EDF
