COLUMBUS, Ohio, Sept. 17, 2020 /3BL Media/– Alliance Data Systems Corporation (NYSE: ADS), a leading provider of data-driven marketing, loyalty and payment solutions, today announced its Card Services business, a premier provider of branded private label, co-brand and commercial card programs, has committed a $1.4 million multi-year comprehensive campaign investment to the Mid-Ohio Food Collective (MOFC), a nonprofit organization that strives in ending hunger across central and eastern Ohio.

Of the donation, $1 million will be used to expand MOFC’s existing systems and technology through the design, development, launch and support of an insights and predictive outcomes digital platform. Just as Alliance Data leverages data and technology to drive positive outcomes for its clients, the Company will do the same for MOFC, working to reduce hunger through strategic data collection, analysis and insights.

Through a skills-based volunteering effort, a dedicated team of data science and IT professionals from Alliance Data will create the digital platform through the skills and technology they use in their everyday roles at the Company. By bringing together data from a number of sources, the team will help MOFC be more efficient and effective in executing its mission.

“Alliance Data is committed to improving the vitality of our communities through programs that make a measurable impact. We’re excited to be doing that with MOFC, not just during Hunger Action Month this September, but for years to come,” said Senior Vice President of Credit Risk and Operations Tammy McConnaughey, who is also a member of the MOFC board of trustees. “We look forward to seeing the impact this new solution has on reducing hunger insecurity in our community, and the potential opportunity we have to learn, replicate and scale to other communities across the country.”

“At MOFC, we believe that embracing technology to find solutions using our unique data sets is the key to addressing hunger,” said Matt Habash, president and chief executive officer, Mid-Ohio Food Collective. “Thanks to Alliance Data, the data-driven insights gleaned through this new platform will establish new processes for driving positive outcomes related to hunger and the other social determinants of health. We are incredibly grateful to be in this partnership with this extraordinary organization.”

Additionally, Alliance Data will provide funding to support MOFC’s operating budget. The budget allows MOFC to respond to the community’s most pressing food needs by reaching additional homes, offering healthier options, adding new hours, creating opportunities for customer education, and more.

Alliance Data has long been a steadfast partner in supporting MOFC’s efforts toward ending hunger. Through Double Your Donation Day(s), Produce Markets, summer meal challenges and COVID-19 emergency relief, the Company and its associates have contributed more than $1.1 million and over 4,200 hours of volunteer service since 2015.
