Bard CEP's National Climate Webinar Hosts Alex Barron, Assistant Professor of Environmental Science and Policy, Smith College
ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y., March 8th, 2016 /3BL Media/- On March 9th, the Bard Center for Environmental Policy will be speaking with Alex Barron, Assistant Professor of Environmental Science and Policy at Smith College about jobs and the economic impact of the EPA's Clean Power Plan.(CPP) From 2011-2015, Alex worked in the Office of Policy at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) where he advised senior EPA leadership and worked on a wide range of environmental regulations, including standards to reduce carbon pollution (including the Clean Power Plan), cross-state air pollution, and mercury and other toxics.
