Bloomberg Square Mile Relay Begins in London

The Bloomberg Square Mile Relay kicked off its 5-city tour in London on September 17, as Mike Bloomberg led the crowd through a final countdown unleashing 1,100 relay runners through the City of London.

Congratulations goes to Barclays, which placed first and donated their £5,000 in winnings to Richard House Children’s Hospice in London. Bloomberg’s “Team Challenging” finished 9th overall with a time of 59 minutes and 21 seconds.

The Bloomberg Square Mile Relay continues with relays set for Singapore on October 1, Shanghai on October 15, Hong Kong on November 5 and Dubai on November 25.
