Washington, June 15, 2016 /3BL Media/ - Deirdre White, CEO, PYXERA Global, leads an interactive workshop today at the United Nations’ headquarters for corporate and foundation grantmakers and CSR managers at this year’s International Grantmaking Symposium (IGS).

The session, titled Is your finger on the pulse of M&E?, will examine partnership as the underpinning of effective M&E. It will encourage grantmakers to approach M&E as a fluid mechanism to better understand and adjust for the realities faced by grantees. Through interactive exercises and inspiring case examples, Ms. White will discuss how to use M&E is the starting point for partnership.

“We often talk about the importance of agile programs that can pivot priorities based on results to date,” points out Ms. White. “The only way to make that a reality is to approach M&E in partnership with grant organizations.”

IGS offers inspiration, education, and application through a crash-course in international grantmaking. The Symposium provides a hands-on experience for those interested in the diving into the best practices of international grantmaking. This year the Symposium will focus on strategic actions, IRS rules and regulation, solution driven approaches, giving responsibly, risk mitigations, and impact measurement.
