Intel on 100 Most Sustainably Managed Companies

October 13, 2020 /3BL Media/ - The Wall Street Journal included Intel on its ranking of the 100 Most Sustainably Managed Companies in the WorldThis ranking assessed more than 5,000 publicly traded businesses on a range of sustainability metrics. The methodology takes a broad view of sustainability by assessing a company’s leadership and governance practices for their ability to create value for shareholders over the long term.

There is an urgent need for action as the world continues to face serious climate issues, from devastating wildfires to severe floods and hurricanes. This recognition underscores Intel’s longstanding commitment to sustainability and transparency. The company released its first Environmental, Health and Safety Report in 1994. Looking ahead, Intel has set ambitious 2030 sustainability goals, which include absolute carbon emissions.
