Jennifer Jehn Resigns as President and CEO of Keep America Beautiful

Iconic National Nonprofit Launches Search for Successor

STAMFORD, Conn., October 11, 2016 /3BL Media/ — Keep America Beautiful, the nation’s leading nonprofit that envisions a country where every community is a clean, green and beautiful place to live, today announced that Jennifer Jehn, its president and CEO, will be leaving the organization. Her last day with Keep America Beautiful will be Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016. Ms. Jehn, who joined Keep America Beautiful in the role in December 2013, will be relocating to Florida.

Howard Ungerleider, chairman, Keep America Beautiful, said, “Using her experience, intelligence and Midwestern grace, Jennifer helped revitalize Keep America Beautiful. She brought stability to our leadership and fortified a strong foundation on which we will build for many years to come. We are very sorry to see her leave. During her tenure, Jennifer implemented an improved organizational structure, set strategic priorities aligned with clear vision and mission, and led a people-focused and results-driven culture. She cultivated mutually beneficial partnerships with our national network of Keep America Beautiful affiliates, sponsors, volunteers, individual donors and other stakeholders which position us well to continue our work. We thank her for her tireless work and contributions and wish her well.”

Ms. Jehn, said, “It is with a heavy heart that I have made the difficult decision to resign my position as President and CEO of Keep America Beautiful. It has been my privilege to serve this great organization and my time here has been the most fulfilling in my career. I am proud of all we have accomplished together, and I am confident the organization will continue to grow and flourish.”
