Lockheed Martin’s Annual Sustainability Report Highlights Resource Efficiency, Employee Wellbeing and other Key Areas
BETHESDA, Md., April 25, 2019 /3BL Media/ – Lockheed Martin today released its 2018 corporate sustainability report, “The Science of Citizenship.” The peer-recognized report details the corporation’s approach to sustainability, which incorporates sound science and future-oriented thinking to address pressing environmental, social and governance issues.

Committing $100 million to workforce development initiatives
Reducing annual energy and water costs by $23.9 million compared to 2010
Implementing 53 energy efficiency and carbon reduction products that resulted in an estimated annual energy reduction of 29 million kWh and over $2 million in savings
Reaching $3 billion in product sales benefitting energy and infrastructure-resiliency
