San Diego, Calif., January 21, 2013 /3BL Media/- Measurabl, the San Diego-based software startup for sustainability reporting, now supports direct data integration with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager®. Portfolio Manager is an online tool real estate managers and owners use to measure and track energy and water consumption, as well as greenhouse gas emissions.

“This integration allows our clients to complete the entire data component of their GRESB survey with a push of a button” says Matt Ellis, Measurabl’s Founder & CEO. “With the GRESB reporting season almost upon us, it lifts a tremendous burden off the industry.”

GRESB is the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark - the world’s leading sustainability reporting standard for commercial real estate owners, asset managers and developers. Measurabl simplifies the GRESB reporting process by allowing its customers to auto-import their data from sources like ENERGY STAR, bill pay providers and utility companies, and guides them through the survey step-by-step. The result is an easy reporting experience and significantly more accurate responses.

Dave Schumann, Measurabl’s Lead Engineer, notes “Portfolio Manager released a new Application Programming Interface (API) in late 2013 and it’s been a tremendous upgrade compared to their prior API. We can pull in much more customer data, much faster and achieve even greater accuracy.”

The company has been piloting its GRESB reporting product with Clarion Partners and Gables Residential, both multi-billion dollar U.S. asset managers. It releases the enterprise version of its platform, which will support reporting to GRESB, this April. The service is free to use, with fees being charged only when reports are filed.
