WASHINGTON, May 5, 2020 /3BL Media/ – PYXERA Global is proud to announce the release of “Paradigm Shift” a guide on solutions towards a circular economy and webinar this Thursday, May 7th, titled, “Circular Economy: A Paradigm Shift.” Paradigm Shift brings together some of the most prominent voices in the circular space on what it will take for the global community to make the transition to circularity. This publication takes a system–level view of the challenge and focuses on solutions—upstream, downstream, and across sectors—with critical takeaways that you can use to advance your circular economy mission. Today, you can access each of the fourteen solution based articles at PYXERAGlobal.org/paradigm-shift.

The launch of the publication includes a webinar series hosting discussions with leaders from the circular space. On Thursday, May 7th join guests Deirdre White, CEO, PYXERA Global and James George, Network Development Lead, Ellen MacArthur Foundation for an engaging conversation on the systemic solutions needed to transition to a circular economy. The discussion will include topics such as the ways to align the public, private, and social sectors on a united circular vision, the critical role the private sector plays on being the catalyst for change, and key incentives that can drive them to change. Finally, the discussion will speak to the potential approaches in the aftermath of COVID-19 to springboard communities towards a more sustainable future with the circular economy front and center. Register today: Circular Economy: A Paradigm Shift.

Paradigm Shift includes fourteen different articles bringing cross-sector solutions for a transition to the circular economy. The publication includes articles from leaders such as Suzanne Jones, the former mayor of Boulder, CO, Katrina Shum, Sustainability Officer for North America, Lush, and Kate Daly, Managing Director, Center for the Circular Economy, Closed Loop Partners. Topics include new perspectives on designing waste out, circulate materials and resources, and regenerating natural systems. Lastly, the publication reveals the power ways that reinventing our systems can lead to a sustainable future.

The publication is one way PYXERA Global is working with across sectors to co-create systemic solutions to transition to a Circular Economy. Engaging in the circular economy requires strategic alignment across a company’s value chain. While the C-Suite is increasingly engaged on these strategies, companies are still challenged by the traditional barriers that exist between CSR departments, corporate foundations, sustainability teams, and business units. Externally, a company must engage the social and public sectors in the communities in which they operate.
