(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) March 23, 2011 - For the 11th year running the adidas Group has published a report on its efforts to be a sustainable business. This year the report runs on the theme of 'In the real world performance counts'. Performing in the real world is all about being aware of the challenges ahead and rising to them, however tough they may be. This report talks about what was done to make a change happen, to do something different, to be better than before.

The report includes core information about the strategies and programmes targeted at improving working conditions in suppliers' factories, reducing environmental impact along the Group's entire value chain, securing and promoting the well-being of the global workforce, and managing wider social responsibilities as a multinational company.

In particular, the report details the adidas Group Environmental Strategy 2015, a five-year plan to re-engineer its approach and embed performance improvements across the Group’s whole value chain.

This year's document is again an online review with no printed version to make it easily accessible to as many interested stakeholders as possible.

Both the review and its pdf can be downloaded here.
