(3BLMedia/theCSRfeed) January 20, 2010 - The Critical Issues Foundation (CIF), in cooperation with Nature Restorer Inc. (NRI), are launching the huge undertaking to retrieve and recycle wastes from the Oceans of the world; focusing primarily on plastics wastes, and starting with the Pacific Gyre. This effort will be launched officially on the 20th of January, i.e. 01/20/2010; because the Founder of both the CIF and NRI believes deeply that –if we put our minds to the challenge at hand- humanity can achieve its main goal by 2020.

Help is Badly and Urgently Needed and Sought Aid is being sought to further this endeavor. Regardless of who you are you can help by actively participating with those who choose to make a difference, even in very small way with contributions and by doing your part in telling others about it.   Moreover, by keeping tuned in to the progress in this project as time goes by in the coming days weeks, YOU CAN SHARE the progress and solicit your friends and families to join in the efforts.   What is OWRP? OWRP is an integrated holistic approach to educating, innovating, and recycling plastics wastes right at the end of use whether from the household or throughout the waste stream; including working with the waste hauler, MRFs (Material Recovery Facilities or Transfer Stations).   Some Background Although the plastic material had been invented in the early twentieth century, it did not really catch on until the late 1970s; when rigid plastics began to replace glass on a rapid scale; and by the 1990s plastics had penetrated almost every conceivable application in almost every industry from agriculture to automotive to packaging and more. The two main characteristics that really helped it achieve such prominence were: Affordability, and versatility.   Now, human nature –having evolved during the past century along the way of Convenience- lent itself to a throw-away attitude that really led to a major challenge for the entire world; especially as time went by. This was also compounded by the rising standard of living for millions around the globe, and the large increase in population as well as the improving production and transportation systems that required packaging, (for shipping and distribution).   As a result of the above, Plastics wastes have been collecting in various ocean spots for a couple of decades; and the latest estimate is about 5-8 million tons (about 16-20 bil lbs.) per  year is added to over 100 mil. tons (200Bil. lbs.) that is already out there, and it is starting to kill a variety of marine life in many ways.   Our humble effort is inspired by the fact that the Founder and owner of both the (CIF- a very small 501-C-3 private non-profit that was established in 1984) and (NRI – a NV corp. innovator in the plastics recycling technology since the mid 1980s) is uniquely qualified to lead such an effort and teach others that will carry it on indefinitely into the better future for all creatures; starting with humans.   Take Action Connect with us through our website www.naturestorer.com  and register as an active participant with people from all over the world who will become an integral part of this effort.   About The Critical issues Foundation (a 501-c-3 educational entity) under the leadership of its Founder and Executive Director Vic Bitar (who invented plastics recycling in 1987) will lead this effort; and will work with all concerned individuals, business entities, and non-profits from around the globe to develop and implement the plans for this gigantic undertaking.   Nature Restorer Inc. (NRI – www.naturestorer.com) will provide the technical and marketing leadership in an effort to make this a commercially viable project after the first couple of years of operations.   NRI4113
