Course Description
This course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge they need to successfully complete the LEED-EB: O&M water fixture efficiency prerequisite and credit.  The course provides context regarding why water efficiency is important and introduces strategies for improving fixture water efficiency.  This is followed by an in-depth look at the prerequisite and credit requirements and calculations, along with a step-by-step example.

Learning Objectives
Course participants will be able to:  

1. Discuss the importance of water efficiency for the environment, economy, and community

2. Define key strategies for improving building water efficiency

3. Understand the requirements for the fixture water efficiency prerequisite and credit (WEp1 and WEc2)

4. Be able to perform the required calculations for WEp1 and WEc2

5. Understand how to compare calculated fixture water efficiency against a baseline
