As of December 25, 2010, the Company had two segments: Computing Solutions and Graphics. Computing Solutions segment includes microprocessors, chipsets and embedded processors and related revenue. The Graphics segment includes graphics, video and multimedia products and related revenue, as well as revenue received in connection with the development and sale of game console systems that incorporate its graphics technology.

AMD Hires New Director of Corporate Responsibility

With this in mind, AMD is pleased to announce that we have hired Tim Mohin to join our company as Director of Corporate Responsibility. In this role, Tim will expand upon AMD’s strong legacy in the CR realm to further embed CR into our business and core processes. He will serve as a senior-level advocate for understanding and fulfilling customer, employee, and societal expectations of responsible corporate behavior, while helping AMD meet its strategic objectives.

Tim is a strong, assertive leader and coalition builder with an excellent reputation and well-established relationships in the CR field. He holds a Masters in Environmental Management from Duke University and has 20 years in CR-related positions with specific experience in government relations, communications, environmental sustainability and the semiconductor industry. Tim will be based in Austin, TX.
