Cigna Sponsors a Healthcare Challenge, and the West Health Institute Partners with the American Journal of Preventive Medicine to Produce a New Supplement - Health Minute for December 4, 2012
Cigna has sponsored the 6th Annual Health Care Management and Delivery Case Challenge. 12 teams of Columbia University graduate students competed by presenting a comprehensive analysis of the challenges of the Timothy Fund, a family foundation that works to reduce emotional distress and the rate of suicide among college students. The event was also supported by the Hay Group.
The West Health Institute and the American Journal of Preventive Medicine are launching a new peer-reviewed supplement that features articles from health care leaders on stakeholder initiatives to lower costs. Titled “Addressing the Cost Crisis in Health Care: Stakeholder Roles and Responsibilities, the publication will be unveiled today at the 2012 mHealth Summit, being held in Arlington, Virginia.
