For the fourth consecutive year, Global Vision Magazine has recognized DuPont Taiwan as a Best Corporate Citizen. Global Vision Magazine, with a circulation of 80,000, is one of the most reputable media groups in Taiwan.

Recognized as one of the top three multinational companies in Taiwan, DuPont received the magazine’s prestigious Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) award. Taiwan Prime Minister Wu presented the award to DuPont Taiwan country president, Steve Chen.

“It is commendable that these companies are doing good work in the communities as they perform their daily operations well, especially while we are confronting the economic downturn,” said Prime Minister Wu.

The annual CSR award is based on a rigorous screening and qualification process that involves in-depth research into each business and includes extensive employee interviews. The award serves to validate a company’s outstanding performance on corporate governance and continuous commitment on sustainability and to the local community.  Of particular note, DuPont Taiwan was recognized for the energy-saving accomplishments achieved at the Kuan Yin site and the alternative energy products produced at the Taoyuan site.
