ERA Carbon Offsets Ltd. (TSX­-V: ESR) is pleased to announce that it has successfully concluded a Carbon Offset Sales Agreement, previously announced in its Press Release dated September 24, 2010, with the German company the Forest Carbon Group AG (FCG).

The transaction, which concluded with the execution of the Sales Agreement on December 8, 2010, will deliver FCG validated and verified Carbon Offsets from 2011 though 2013. The Agreement represents over $11,070,000 CAD in revenues for the company.

The Carbon Offsets are being produced from ERA’s forest restoration and conservation projects based in Canada. The Carbon Offsets will be validated and verified to the International Standard Organization’s ISO 14064-2 standard and if applicable, to the Community, Climate and Biodiversity Alliance’s CCBA standard or a mutually agreed upon equivalent standard. All Carbon Offsets will be serialized and registered on the international Markit Environmental Registry.
