HP, Staples Launch New Electronics Recycling Program; Walgreens, Car Charging Group Expand Service in Florida; Aveeno Starts "Be an Active Natural" Fund - CSR Minute for April 27, 2012

HP and Staples have launched a new electronics recycling program for office electronics at Staples stores. Consumers and small businesses can now recycle their electronics for free at Staples, regardless of where the devices were purchased. The program also accepts all brands of electronics.

Walgreen’s and the Car Charging Group are expanding electric vehicle charging services to 13 Walgreens locations in Orlando and Tampa/St. Petersburg. The two companies will offer more EV charging services at more locations in Florida as well as in Phoenix, Austin, and Columbus, Ohio, and other cities.

Aveeno has launched the “Be an Active Natural” Fund to reward individuals and organizations that are creating positive change in their communities. Eight $1,000 grants will be awarded throughout the year to consumers whose work is inspiring, educational, and aimed at improving the local environment.
