ABOUT International Council on Mining and Metals - ICMM
The International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM) was established in 2001 to act as a catalyst for performance improvement. Today, we bring together 21 mining and metals companies as well as 32 national and regional mining associations and global commodity associations to address the core sustainable development challenges faced by the industry.
ICMM at Resources Efficiency Alliance workshop

(Justmeans.com / CSR News) - ICMM’s Chief Operating Office, John Groom, attended a workshop of the European Resource Efficiency Alliance in Brussels on "The Non-Ferrous Metals Bottom-up Approach to Climate Change" on 2 June. Participants included companies, associations, investors and NGOs with a strong focus on eco-efficiency throughout the life cycle of metals, recycling and dematerialisation. The event also provided an opportunity for an ICMM presentation on the various tools available for capacity building for more sustainable outcomes in the developing markets. |
