The International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM) was established in 2001 to act as a catalyst for performance improvement. Today, we bring together 21 mining and metals companies as well as 32 national and regional mining associations and global commodity associations to address the core sustainable development challenges faced by the industry.
ICMM presents to seminar on implementing the EITI

(Justmeans.com / CSR News) - ICMM’s Ben Peachey attended the seminar “Implementing the EITI – Best practice and tools” in Berlin on 10 June. He gave a presentation on “The important issues for companies involved in the EITI programs” to an audience of over 30 people. Participants included government, business and civil society representatives from the African EITI implementing countries; Cameroon, Ghana, Liberia, Madagascar, Mozambique, Nigeria and Sao Tome e Principe. All were keen to share their country experiences and learn from leading experts and practitioners. |
