JC Penney is supporting Share Our Strength, an organization fighting childhood hunger, during November. The company’s customers are invited to round up their store purchases to the nearest whole dollar to support Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry Campaign.
Walden University has released a video as part of its mission to lead and contribute to global social change. “Global Voice: Social Change Matters” uses person-on-the-street interviews to explore the motivations for getting involved in social change. The interviews also examine perspectives on global economic conditions, as well as the roles of individuals, nonprofit organizations, and government in social change. The video complements Walden’s 2012 Social Change Impact Report.
