Dan Probst, Chairman of Energy and Sustainability Services at Jones Lang LaSalle, has won the initial VERGE 25 Award in the category of Next-Gen Buildings. The award honors 25 leaders from business, government, and institutions who are making contributions toward the convergence of systems and technologies around energy, buildings, transportation, and information and communications. The Next-Gen Building category recognizes leadership in harnessing building automation systems and advocating for data transparency.

O Trade and Market Access, a Canadian firm specializing in sustainable supply chain and community development solutions, has been recognized by the c for its proprietary Local Community Procurement Program. The LCPP uses procurement as an avenue to support project productivity, integrate the value chain, adhere to global standards, and multiply opportunities for local content and community development. O Trade’s initiative was named one of the Top 15 innovations of the World Bank Procurement Innovation Challenge 2012.
