MGM Resorts International has outlined its commitment to diversity, community engagement, and sustainability in its first consolidated CSR Report. Network for Good will host a “TweetUp” tomorrow at 1 pm Eastern Time to support the troops, veterans, and military families. The hash tag #c4gchat hosted by @Companies4Good will host patriotic cause marketing campaigns, including Got Your 6, a Hollywood effort aimed at bridging the civilian-military divide, and the Helping Heroes Home campaign, a partnership with AT&T, Causes.com, and the nonprofit Cell Phones for Soldiers.
Sustainability reporting was the main issue at the recent Responsible Business Summit sponsored by Ethical Corporation, held in New York. A key focus was on defining reporting as the foundation of an ongoing conversation with stakeholders rather than a one-time event.
